Ahoy there. Welcome to the third edition of my newsletter - Pursuit.
I’m writing from India.
After 2 long years, I met my parents and family. This has been the longest time away from them. Just like many others, recently, I had sporadic emotional breakdowns in our new homeland—Canada.
Reason—zero social interaction for the past couple of months.
All good now and I’m so grateful to hug my parents and see them healthy. I wish the same for everyone who is longing to meet their loved ones.
I was on a 3-week hiatus to replenish my creativity. You read that right, I was away from my laptop for straight 3 weeks.
I attended a grand Indian wedding of my cousin in Rajasthan, India. We danced, binged eat and had a festive time.
That being said, let’s dive into this week’s edition.
Celebrating My First 10,000 Followers On Medium
There is an important milestone in my writing journey and I’m pleased to announce my first 10,000 followers on Medium. I hit my target well before the planned date and I’m exhilarated.
I now hold myself more accountable than ever to create quality and engaging content for my audience.
My top article from this week
This week I wrote about 5 Erotic Paintings That Scandalized the Art World.
Erotic art and nudity have been part of art history forever. And when an art piece doesn’t conform to set rules and conventions, it stirs controversy.
This article unravels 5 paintings that ooze out erotica and have scandalized the art world.
I have been invited to participate in Quora + revenue sharing
I was always a quora user but never contributed actively to the community. This September I wrote consistently for 30 days and tried answering questions related to freelancing, Medium and art.
Guess what? I have been invited to participate in their partner program. My mojo is high and I’m all set to contribute and set aside my time for Quora.
Fingers crossed!
My plans for the next week
I’m writing an article on Otto Dix’s sensual art which will be out on my Medium profile by tomorrow.
I’m reading about Bitclout and would love to write an article too.
Rest, I’m with my parents and in-laws and it’s a full house. I’d make sure to spend quality time with them.
If you want to support my work
It’s a wrap for this week. Share this newsletter with your friends and anybody you feel would enjoy it.
See you next week, ciao!
Hello...From India!
Glad to know that you are happy!
You have such a great body of work outside Substack Kamna. How are you finding publishing here over the other platforms. I’d be curious to know
