I'd say this is always true when people interpret images (art, photography, etc.). It's just like what do you see in the clouds? We see with our own unique lens. One of the amazing things about art is we can all see something different and that's ok. In my own artwork, I didn't know what I was drawing when I drew it. And even when I was done and I thought I knew, I have been amazed at the depths and additional meanings that have revealed themselves to me over time. Art is like a dream in this way - we may think we know what it meant but that doesn't mean we know it all and forever. And isn't that a beautiful thing?
